Vegetarian Wine Dinner
Met with seven ladies in the Willamette Valley last night to cook a vegetarian dinner that would pair with the wine they had tasted and bought yesterday. They had traveled from all over the country for a quick bachelorette weekend party. I arrived in the afternoon at their VRBO and let myself in to cook and set up. They arrived at 5:30 and after they had a little rest we began the meal. I was excited to make giant portobello mushroom ravioli, something I had developed last spring. They came home just as I was rolling out the pasta and somewhere out there in social media I have a feeling there are many pictures of me making these. Overall we had a really fun night and I hope the meal added to the memories they made here in Oregon.
